ROAD"
and are routinely enforced by state and county law enforcement officers. M-123 is a State Highway. It is illegal to ride on the plowed portion of State Highways in Michigan Whitefish Point Road is a Chippewa County road. You may ride on the plowed portion of Chippewa County rods when the unplowed portion is impassable. Always ride single file, with the flow of traffic next to the snow bank and do not pass vehicles. The recommended speed limit on Whitefish Point Road is 30 MPH. Be aware of vehicles coming from hidden driveways. They have the right-if-way. The "Town Trail" in Paradise is a groomed trail and runs from a quarter mile west of Paradise on the north side of M-123, changing to the west side of M-123 at the blinker light and continuing just south of The Breakfast Nook. The "Town Trail" has two-way traffic and the speed limit on this trail is 15 MPH. Ordinance #060100. The "Town Trail" has numerous private residence and business driveways. You must yield to all driveway traffic! Again, they have the right-of-way. You must stay on the Trail! Veering off the "Town Trail" and onto private property will result in loosing the "Town Trail". Please help us to keep the "Town Trail" open by respecting private property and the speed limit.
