Annual Wild Blueberry Festival
Arts & Crafts Fair
August 20, 21, & 22, 2010

The Wild Blueberry Festival Arts & Crafts Fair is held on the grounds of the Whitefish Township Community Center in Paradise, Michigan.

We have 90 spaces available. Spaces are 12'x12' outside on the blacktop or grass. Please bring your own set up and display materials for outside spaces. We also have three inside spaces available that consist of one 3'x 8' table which is provided, and are on a first applicant basis. There is a limit of two outside or one inside space per artist. Artists who were here last year will get first choice of the spaces available if they apply by April 15, 2010. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide electricity for our spaces. Quiet generators are allowed with prior permission, and you will be placed on a wood edge lot.

Artists are required to set up all three days of the festival for the full time the Art Fair is open. Any early breakdowns or no-shows, without prior notification, will not be asked back to the Festival. The Art Fair runs from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Friday and Saturday, and 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday.

All work must be handmade and shown by the artist who rents the space. Agents representing the artist or crafter are not allowed. Kits; commercially manufactured goods, clothing,, candles; screen print T-shirts; off-set prints from paintings, flea-market items. or any resale items are not permitted. Anyone displaying or selling prohibited items will be asked to leave.We will be checking!

Daily parking for crafters will be by permit in the County Barn lot next to the Community Center grounds. Please be sure to complete and return the parking permit application included with this mailing. The license plate number of the vehicle you will be driving to the festival is required on this form. You will receive a permit when you check in upon arrival to thefestival.

In order to insure your lodging requirements, you should make advance reservations at hotels and campgrounds. Many of them fill up early, so be sure and plan ahead. For a listing of hotels in the area, please visit our website at www.paradisemichigan.org.

To participate in the Arts & Crafts Fair this year, please complete and return the following application with a check for $50.00 per space, two pictures of your work to keep in our file, and a self-addressed, stamped envelope to:

If you have sent pictures in the past, you only need to send pictures of new work that you will bring to the show. Application and payment must be received by June 15, 2010. This fee covers all three days and is non-refundable.

Please be sure to fill out and return the parking permit application along with your Art Fair Application. It is required to be accepted into the Festival.
